Writer
Georgina’s first play, Small Vessels, was long-listed for both BOLD Theatre's and the Theatre Royal Haymarket's playwriting competitions, and reached the top 2% of submissions for the Papatango New Writing Prize. Her second play, Sapling (Formerly known as In Memoriam), was shortlisted for BOLD Theatre’s and Druid’s playwriting competitions. It was also highly commended by both The National Theatre’s and The Royal Court Theatre’s readers’ teams. Georgina fundraised to hold a rehearsed reading of the play at The Bush Theatre in 2024.
She has been a member of The Soho Theatre’s Writers’ Lab and Theatre503’s Wandsworth Writes groups. In 2024 she was commissioned to write a new play, Penalty for Improper Use, for LAMDA’s MishMash Festival. The play was subsequently selected to have a rehearsed reading at Theatre503.
Georgina debuted and performed her one woman show ASBO BOZO at Riverside Studios with her theatre company Crafted by Fools earlier this year. The show received a number of reviews that were 4, 4.5 and 5 stars. It was described as “Brilliantly witty, emotionally impactful and chillingly thought-provoking… simply stunning.” (Reviews Hub, 5 Stars) and “Unsettling, electric, and impossible to ignore” (Squirrp, 4 Stars).
Georgina is currently a finalist for The Women’s Prize for Playwriting 2025 with her play Sapling

Belfast, 1990. 16 year old Gerry Flynn strives for normality during the last gasps of The Troubles but the events of one day shatter everything. His brother’s memorial garden is destroyed, his killer released from prison, and the arrival of an enigmatic stranger, Ryan, forces Gerry to confront the haunting dilemma: is Ryan the solution to his problems or the reason they exist in the first place?

Penalty for Improper Use
Meeting over a cigarette at a wedding, Heather and Alexander quickly figure out they’re not star-crossed lovers. But as circumstance keeps throwing them together, and with talk of an ‘obsoletion date’ hinting at a dystopian backdrop, the two find themselves drifting closer to affection.
This might be true love - but if you’re not allowed to choose, would you even know if it was?
